Our Parish Ministries

We welcome you to learn about and consider joining some of our parish ministries. There are many great ways to get involved.

Parish Council- Congratulations to the newly elected Parish Council:

Geraldine Jones, President; Pamela Masoud, Vice President; Georgia Nicolaou, Secretary; Mary Ladas, Treasurer; Gloria Frank, Assistant Secretary; Board Members: Dorothea Aucoin, Demetria Cefola, Stephanie Woythaler. We commend the new and returning Board members and look forward to continued progress for our community.

The Parish Council is composed of faithful men and women who are dedicated Orthodox Christians and who sacrifice their time, talents, and resources for the Church. We represent the parish, as clergy and laity together, and seek to fulfill the mission ascribed to us by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Learn More »

Altar Servers

This young man started as an altar boy when he was 3-years-old. He is 7 now, and he does a wonderful job!

In the Eastern Orthodox Church, altar servers assist the higher clergy during services. They might carry the cross, candles or liturgical fans in processions and entrances.

Bible Study Group

We have begun a study group to explore questions and thoughts about the Bible, and the Orthodox life in general. We want our group to be open to all as we explore what is on our minds and hearts. We meet every other Wednesday at the Church Hall from 6:00-8:00 PM. For meeting date information, click Schedule of Services

Music Ministries

Music plays an integral role in the liturgical life of the Orthodox Church. Learn more about the mixed voice choir for Divine Liturgy or the Byzantine Choir for Vespers, Orthros, and other services. Learn More »

Youth Ministry

As our youth attendance grows, we will resume Youth Services.

We believe that the Goal of Orthodox Christian Youth Ministry is the integration of each young person fully into the total life of the Church. With the growth of our younger membership, we hope to develop more Youth activities. We believe that Orthodox Christians must commit themselves to living the Orthodox Faith daily. Worship, Witness, Service and Fellowship are the natural expressions of that commitment. Learn More »

    Help is Always Appreciated!

We believe that each Parishioner has something to contribute in terms of time and talent. Our Parish leaders  direct activities, but the work must be shared. Small efforts create large results without overburdening any one person. Bring your new ideas and share your talents at whatever level is possible. That is the key to our success with our Ministries, our community activities, and the cohesion of our Church Parishioners. We share the responsibilities, and we pray for God's grace to touch us all.
