Rounding up is a familiar concept these days because it's so easy to do and it doesn't require any large donations. Instead, it leverages small amounts (even a few pennies) from multiple donors, as often as the cards are used for purchases. Like compound interest it can add up to a healthy stream of money we can use to keep our buildings and site safe and beautiful for our parish members and visitors.
